About:

Seeds of Hope is a ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles which seeks to help congregations, communities, and schools turn unused land into productive gardens and orchards to provide healthy and fresh food in areas of need across the county.

Through garden workshops, nutrition education, and creative collaboration with communities, we are working to Cultivate Wellness in Los Angeles to create stronger, healthier communities!

Services Provided at The Wellness Center:

Health & Fitness Group Classes: Seeds of Hope (SOH) provides nutrition/cooking education twice a month at The Wellness Center. Topics include food groups and portions, unit prices, reading a nutrition label and sugar-sweetened beverages. All classes and materials will be in English and Spanish. All recipes reflect the neighborhood and community around The Wellness Center in that they are culturally relevant. The program centers on growing and eating seasonally while focusing on health and affordability.
